Aruba Networks launches Wall Mountable AP-93H Access Point

This Access Point is Capable of delivering high-performance Wi-Fi services to multiple rooms, the AP-93H greatly simplifies RF coverage planning and significantly reduces wireless LAN (WLAN) deployment costs. The AP-93H is built to provide years of trouble-free operation and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

In its 2011 Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Network Firewalls, Gartner has positioned Palo Alto Networks as a leader.
As many of you know, Gartner bases its vendor positioning on two major elements: ability to execute and completeness of vision.  Palo Alto Networks entered the MQ in 2010 as a visionary vendor based on our highly differentiated technology and rapid market adoption.

This year, the MQ looks very different from its 2010 incarnation.  Clearly, Palo Alto Networks position as a leader indicates that the balance of power in enterprise network security has continued to shift towards the Next-Generation Firewall – an idea that Gartner launched some years ago and is now rapidly becoming mainstream.

Palo Alto Networks is assessed as a leading vendor mostly due to its:
•       Next-generation firewall design;
•       Redirection of the market along the next-generation firewall path;
•       Consistent displacement of leaders and challengers; and
•       Market disruption forcing leaders to react.

The AP-93H leverages wireless as a primary connection with speed and reliability comparable to a wired LAN. High performance is maintained using channel bonding, block acknowledgement and MIMO radios, while advanced antenna technology increases range and reliability.

This friendly to install Access Point easily mounts to Ethernet wall plates and uses the existing structured cabling system to provide secure Wi-Fi and wired network access. Perfect for dormitories, classrooms, hotels, medical clinics and multitenant environments.
